Teens enrolled in the "Children, Youth and Families at Risk" project in Columbus' University District helped deliver 4-H programming to younger youth in after-school and out-of-school-time programs. Teens who participated received an average of 110 hours of training and work experience. Evaluations indicate that 95 percent of participants improved their math scores on the Test of Adult Basic Education, and all showed gains in their ability to effectively complete a job application, produce a resume, interview for a job, and demonstrate desirable work habits.
